Call For Paper
The Indian Journal of Climate & Environmental Studies (IJCEMS) is committed to maintaining long-term access, visibility, and authenticity of all published works.
In line with its Open Access and No-Fee policy, the journal adopts sustainable, transparent, and non-commercial methods for digital archiving, indexing, and DOI registration.
This policy outlines how IJCEMS preserves and assigns permanent identifiers to its scholarly content.
IJCEMS is hosted through Google Sites and Google Drive, which together ensure:
Free and universal access to all published materials.
High uptime and reliable storage infrastructure provided by Google.
Accessibility without user registration, subscription, or paywalls.
Direct access to downloadable full-text PDFs and HTML versions.
All published materials are stored in Google Drive folders managed under official editorial accounts and linked through the journal’s Google Site for public viewing.
IJCEMS uses Zenodo (operated by CERN and OpenAIRE, European Union) for DOI (Digital Object Identifier) registration and metadata archiving.
Zenodo is a recognized, permanent, and free academic repository that issues globally valid DOIs for scholarly works.
Each published article in IJCEMS receives a unique Zenodo DOI, which ensures:
Permanent identification of the article on the web.
International discoverability through OpenAIRE and DataCite networks.
Long-term preservation of article metadata and full text.
Zenodo’s infrastructure guarantees that even if IJCEMS changes or relocates its hosting in the future, the DOI link will always remain valid and active.
IJCEMS does not use Crossref, Scopus, Clarivate, or any paid indexing or DOI registration agency.
This decision is based on our foundational principle of Open Access Without Author Fees.
Because the journal collects no submission, processing, or publication charges, it uses free and credible open repositories such as Zenodo for DOI assignment and archiving.
This ensures that authors do not bear any cost burden while still benefiting from global DOI recognition and indexing under OpenAIRE and DataCite frameworks.
Currently, IJCEMS is not indexed in any commercial or subscription-based databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, or Crossref.
However, the journal’s published content is publicly available and automatically discoverable through:
Google Scholar
OpenAIRE and DataCite (via Zenodo metadata)
General web search engines and academic crawlers
Future indexing or repository inclusions will be pursued based on editorial capacity and relevance, but authors will not be charged for any such integrations.
IJCEMS ensures multiple layers of archiving for content preservation:
Primary hosting through Google Sites and Google Drive.
Permanent DOI and metadata backup on Zenodo.
Regular internal backups of all published content and submission records.
This multi-platform strategy ensures redundancy and permanence even if one service experiences downtime or policy changes.
Each article published by IJCEMS is:
Assigned a unique DOI via Zenodo.
Uploaded to the journal’s official Google Site and Google Drive under editorial control.
Linked directly between Zenodo and the journal’s website for authenticity verification.
Readers, authors, and institutions can verify authenticity by cross-checking the DOI on https://zenodo.org/.
By submitting a manuscript to IJCEMS and upon its acceptance, authors acknowledge and agree that:
Their article will be archived and assigned a DOI through Zenodo.
Their published work will be hosted publicly on Google Sites and Google Drive under open-access terms.
The journal does not provide Crossref or commercial indexing services.
The DOI issued via Zenodo holds full scholarly legitimacy under DataCite standards.
The author understands and accepts this model as part of the publication agreement and no further undertaking or copyright transfer is required.
IJCEMS shall not be held responsible for:
Any temporary inaccessibility of Google Sites, Google Drive, or Zenodo.
Any technical malfunction, service outage, or third-party policy change that affects repository links or DOI visibility.
Indexing acceptance or rejection by external databases or aggregators.
The journal ensures best-faith compliance with all open-access and archiving principles, but external repository policies are beyond its control.
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in hosting infrastructure, DOI assignment methods, or repository partnerships.
All updates will be transparently published on the official IJCEMS website, and continued use implies acceptance of the revised policy.
