Call For Paper
The Indian Journal of Climate & Environment Studies (IJCES) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity. All submissions must be original works that have not been published elsewhere, in whole or in part, and are not under consideration by any other journal at the time of submission.
This policy ensures that IJCES publishes only unique, authentic, and original research contributions and that no duplication, redundancy, or overlap occurs between IJCES and any other publication outlet.
Duplication occurs when substantially the same manuscript, data, analysis, or findings appear in more than one publication. IJCES considers the following as duplication or redundant publication:
Submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.
Republishing an article previously accepted or published elsewhere (including conference proceedings, institutional repositories, or sister journals) without substantial revision or authorization.
Reusing figures, tables, or data sets from previously published work without proper citation or permission.
Authors submitting to IJCES must:
Confirm that the submitted manuscript is original and unpublished.
Declare that it is not under review or consideration by another journal or conference.
Properly acknowledge and cite all sources and prior related works.
Inform the editorial office if the manuscript shares data or content with previously published or submitted work.
Any detected duplication before publication will result in immediate rejection. If duplication is discovered after publication, the article may be retracted in accordance with IJCES’s Retraction Policy.
Once a manuscript is submitted to IJCES, it remains the intellectual property of the submitting author(s) until accepted for publication. Upon publication, the copyright and publication rights are transferred to IJCES under its standard licensing terms.
If an article has already been published or formally submitted to another journal (for example, IJBMRS or any other platform), it is considered the intellectual property of that journal’s editorial process and cannot be republished in IJCES.
All submissions are screened through plagiarism detection tools and cross-checked with published databases.
Any manuscript found to contain plagiarism, duplication, or excessive self-similarity will be rejected or returned to the author for clarification.
IJCES adheres to the ethical standards recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to uphold these principles to maintain the integrity of scholarly publishing.
